Two PostDoc positions are currently open for application, one of which is in our group in Freiburg, and the other one Hamburg.
The successful candidate for Freiburg (open to all matching disciplines) will explore machine learning approaches for real-time alignment at LHCb and contribute to the development of toolchains and compilers to simplify the transition of models to heterogeneous hardware, such as FPGA-like System-on-a-Chip devices, for example, those of an industry partner.
